Service Coordination
Our service coordinators provide assistance in identifying, accessing and coordinating a multitude of services. The service coordinators ensure the delivery of services and supports for individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability.
Foster Care Services are available for our children and adult clients with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Our state of the art Foster Care homes are single family residences that offer 24-hour care in a comfortable, home-like setting.
Residential programs provide services in group homes for individuals who require care, supervision, support and training. Programs provide room and board as well as services such as monitoring of medical and health needs, behavior management, assistance with money management, and participation in community and leisure time activities.
Family Support is individualized planning and service coordination, assisting families with financial assistance, access information and supports for children with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
Our Personal Support Worker program provides one-on-one supports for adults and children with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Applications and training information is available at the Developmental Disabilities office. Personal Support Workers can be provided by DD Services or they can be family members, friends, neighbors, or parents for clients 18 years of age and older.
Employment and Alternatives to Employment programs provide community-based employment, training and support designed to increase an individual's independence, productivity and integration. Providers include REACH Inc., Mentor Oregon, Klamath Work and more.
Klamath County works together with the State of Oregon licensing unit to qualify, inspect, and certify children and adult foster homes.
