Weed Control Advisory Board

Klamath County was declared a weed control district on February 9, 1938. Since that date each year the Klamath County Board of Commissioners declares the County a Weed Control District. The role of the Weed Control Advisory Board is to give advice in controlling, destroying, preventing and identifying noxious weeds in Klamath County. Noxious weeds pose an increasing threat to native ecosystems, croplands, and other plant communities throughout Klamath County and the role of this board is help prevent extensive weed infestations.
