What is an Intellectual/Developmental Disability?
An Intellectual Developmental/Disability is a neurological condition that primarily affects the brain and motor functioning. It manifests by the age of 18 (for a Developmental Disability by the age of 22) and significantly affects adaptive behavior, or everyday living skills. Developmental Disabilities may include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down syndrome

- Intellectual Disability
- Other neurologically disabling conditions
