Our Mission

The mission of the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office is: To Seek Justice and to Protect and Make Safe Our Community. We seek justice by making sure that every action we take promotes fairness in the way people are treated while adhering to the highest ethical and legal standards.   We protect and make safe our community means ensuring that our decisions promote the safety of the people who live in Klamath County.

Our Policy

A copy of the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office policy manual may be found HERE. This policy manual is intended to provide guidance and direction for Klamath County District Attorney’s Office personnel and is to be used in conjunction with all relevant supervisory, legal, and ethical authorities.  District Attorney’s Office personnel are expected to use this manual in conjunction with their professional judgment, experience, and training to evaluate individual cases and situations to ensure that all actions advance the mission of the District Attorney and comply with all legal and ethical authorities.
