Oregon Bee Project

Thursday, December 14, 2017

Bees are a vital part of the pollination process that keeps crops and ecosystems thriving. Learn what the state of Oregon is doing to protect bees – and what you can do at home to keep the fuzzy little buzzers healthy – during a presentation at the downtown Klamath County Library on Thursday, December 14th at 6 pm. The Oregon Bee Project is a joint effort by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and Oregon State University, aimed at monitoring and protecting bee populations throughout the state. Representatives from the Oregon Bee Project will be on hand to tackle your questions about what they do – and what you can do – to help protect bees from pesticide exposure, habitat damage, and other threats.
